The El Mostakbal City station and bridge is one of the most important stops in Phase 1 of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, owing to its strategic location serving the urban expansions east of Cairo. The bridge serves residents of El Mostakbal City, New El Obour City, and the surrounding residential communities, reducing dependence on private cars and traditional buses.
